Privacy

Infinite Museum has no accounts, sets no cookies and shows no advertising. This page explains the little that does happen when you visit.

Who runs this site

Infinite Museum is made and run by Jola Solutions. For any question about this page or your data, get in touch through jola-solutions.be.

What your browser fetches, and from whom

The museum is assembled in your browser from public sources. To do that, your browser asks the services below for files. As with any web request, each of them sees your IP address and basic browser information. We do not receive or store any of that ourselves.

Links to Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons or Google in the details of a work, and the PayPal and Wikimedia donation links in the menu, only contact those sites if you click them.

What is kept on your device

No cookies, and nothing in your browser's storage.

The address of the page carries your visit number and the collection you chose, so that a link you share opens the same museum. It says nothing about you.

Visitor statistics

This site does not measure its visitors: there is no analytics script of any kind.

Server logs

The company that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) for a short period, for security and to keep the service running.

Legal basis and your rights

The limited processing described here rests on our legitimate interest in delivering a working, secure website (article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to its use. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority at dataprotectionauthority.be.
